So, I’m officially into Week 30………I never thought this week would come!!!
Although, maybe I’m even further????………Baby girl is measuring QUITE large for 30 weeks. Her measurements come in at the 99th percentile in ALL areas!! She’s measuring in at about 34 weeks and my belly is measuring at 33 weeks. Either my due date is off, or we just might have a big girl on our hands!! I’m hoping this might mean I will go into labor sooner than my due date, but of course, there are no guarantees!!
Here’s the bump as it looks now:
I’m feeling LARGE and IN CHARGE!! 🙂
Little one is still moving like CRAZY, my leg/vein issues are still there, but holding steady, and surprisingly enough, I’m not too uncomfortable, yet!! I have found that I’m getting quite tired, quite easily, though! And, just walking up a flight of stairs can take my breath away! The nausea is still there in the A.M., but it’s not too bad. I have also felt my “nesting” instincts take hold and I hope it sticks around!! We have LOTS to do!!
I promised some pictures of the Baby’s room, so here you go. We’ve got a lot more to do on it, but here’s what’s been done so far. I don’t have a waaaaay before picture of the room when it was just bare bones and not very attractive, but here is what it looked like after the wallboard was put up:
Again, this really isn’t “supposed” to be a room at all. It’s basically a really big, long room that was a storage closet, that we are making into baby’s room for the time being. It’s hard to photograph it, because it’s not wide, just long! And, it’s quite small, but, it’s attached to our room, with its own door, and will work perfectly, at least for the first year. Then, hopefully in the next year, or so, we can do our “add-on” project and have another bedroom ready!!
Mark got the room all primed and painted yesterday!!! Here’s a few shots of that. They aren’t the greatest of pictures, but you get the idea:
Hopefully we can get the electricians back in, soon, to finish the electrical work, and then we can get the carpet installed, all the trim put up, and then it will be ready to make into a “real” room!!! We’re so excited!!!
